Mid-wives regulation becomes law

The Medicare for Midwives Bill was passed in the Senate yesterday. The new Bill gives Midwives working in hospitals and in collaborative arrangements with Obstetricians access to the MBS, PBS and provides them with indemnity insurance. NICK FAIRBAIRN reports
