City to Lake Plans

Garema place has been revived over the last few years with trendy new restaurants and bars opening their doors and attracting a lively atmosphere.

From the hipster bar Honkytonks, to tapas and cocktail bar The Playground and a variety of others, the city centre is slowly but surely receiving the credit it deserves.

With entertainment and dining venues growing, the ACT Government are now discussing new development plans for the future, to avoid crisis if the population continues to grow.

Some of the plans include a pathway that would link Lake Burley Griffin to the city centre.
