Calling Australia home
Most Australians take their citizenship for granted, but until 1949 there were no Australian citizens, only British. More than 4.5 million immigrants have been conferred as Australian citizens since then. Last year around 120,000 people decided to call Australia home by becoming citizens. To find out more about the process, Tom Kenchington talked to two brand new Australians.
