The nation’s capital is the place to be during ANZAC Day. We’re home to the single biggest Dawn Service in the country, and of course the Australian War Memorial. Here is your guide to ANZAC Day in Canberra.

Dawn Service – Australian War Memorial

Where: The Australian War Memorial – Treloar Crescent (top of ANZAC Parade).

When: 4.30am

How to get there: Road closures will be in place, and there is limited parking, so it’s best to take public transport. ACTION Buses will be providing a free shuttle service from Belconnen, the City, Tuggeranong, and Woden, operating between 4 and 5am.

What to bring: It’s likely to be very cold, so make sure to bring warm clothes – coats, jackets, scarves, and gloves. It might be a good idea to pack a blaket too.
