Groovin the Moo is back. So if you’re a newcomer or even a veteran, here are some tips to help you get through your long day and have the time of your life.

Bumbag

The most important thing to bring to a festival is a bag. A BUM BAG! Not only are bum bags making a come back these days but they’re hand free! Fill it with all your essentials and your good to go.

Jacket

Temperatures can fluctuate throughout the day, especially in Canberra. It could get to a top of 30 degrees during the day and drop down to -3 degrees in the nighttime, so make sure you pack a jacket. There is a cloakroom so don’t worry about having to carry your stuff around all day. Make sure, however, that you grab it quick in time to avoid the cloakroom line when it gets cold.

Footwear

Rain, hail or shine the show must go on. So make sure you wear appropriate footwear, which is at least waterproof and try and not wear your white Adidas because I can assure you, by the end of the day they won’t be white.

Meeting places

Losing your friends can be quite awful, so arrange meeting places when you get there so if one of your friends goes missing you can always meet back at the place you arranged at.

Portable Phone Charger

You better invest in a portable USB phone charger, as with all the photos you will be taking, your phone is going to die and if you lose your mates the last thing you want is a dead phone.

Cash

Make sure you bring enough cash with you because you don’t want to be stuck in the ATM line and missing your favourite acts.

 Band-aids

You might find the new boots you’re wearing are you giving you some nasty blisters and you don’t wanna be in pain for the rest of the night.

and last but not least HAVE A GREAT TIME AND TAKE CARE OF ONE ANOTHER!
