Your Canberra Date Night

There can be a lot of pressure associated with date night. How do you find a fun, relaxed restaurant with food both of you will enjoy? Next, you have to think about price and the kind of atmosphere you’re hoping for. How do you organise all this without the stress ruining your evening? Well, here are four fantastic options right on your doorstep that have been tried and tested for when you feel like splurging a little extra on that romantic evening.

eightysix – Lonsdale St & Eloura Street, Braddon

Situated on Lonsdale Street in Braddon, one of Canberra trendiest areas, eightysix is a great way to start a fun and energetic evening. Much of the menu comes in the form of share plates, which makes for a great social evening and plenty of conversation for any nerve wracking first dates. The food is a little pricier than your average dinner, but if you are looking to make your money back, eightysix offers an all you can eat option, if you think you’re up to the task. The service is fun and friendly, adding a little extra twist to your date, you can request to sit at the bar where you can watch the chefs cook as you enjoy your meal.
