‘Generation Next’: DanceFest 2019

AusDance ACT’s Youth DanceFest returned this year for its 35th anniversary, celebrating dance with over 60 performances from 35 different schools across Canberra.

Maddy Calder, a year 12 dance student from Gungahlin College, worked hard to prepare her and her classmates for their big performance to celebrate DanceFest’s 2019 theme, ‘Generation Next’.

“I love DanceFest because it gives such an incredible opportunity for students to put together their own production piece and share it with everybody else.”
