Shadow of a drought

The long drought gripping the country means some towns will face ‘day zero’ in the next six months when their water supplies will run dry.

The lack of rain, made worse by above-average temperatures, is stretching the resources and resilience of farmers.

Claire Bakker went to the New South Wales town of Boorowa to see the effect drought is having on people and the land.
