CSIRO reveals forests’ big carbon role

WITH the Federal Government’s carbon tax recently passing through the Senate, the CSIRO has released figures that show the amount of carbon emissions reabsorbed by the world’s forests. The annual measurements, taken by international science organisations and forest services over the past two decades, have been painstakingly examined, as GREGG EASTON reports.
