The first episode didn’t have much in the way of pivotal plot points, but in the second episode the most hated character of the series, Joffrey Baratheon, is poisoned at his own wedding.

Not everyone in this list dies, just most of them.

Here’s what you (probably) have to look forward to:

1. Lord Tywin dies at the hands of his own son, Tyrion Lannister.
2. Catelyn Stark’s body is reanimated thanks to the Lord of Light, however, she will never be the same.
3. Ygritte dies whilst battling against the Night’s Watch, leaving Jon Snow heartbroken.
4. Prince Oberyn Martell dies whilst defending Tyrion Lannister’s innocence.
5. The Mountain dies a slow and painful death from being poisoned, while it is implied the Hound dies from an infested wound.
6. Arya Stark travels to the distant land of Bravos and learns the true meaning of “Valar Morghulis”.
7. It is revealed that Lysa Arryn poisoned her own husband, Jon Arryn. This was due to Littlefinger’s influence, not the Lannisters’.
8. Littlefinger murders Lysa Arryn to save Sansa Stark.
9. Jon Snow has the option of becoming the new Lord of Winterfell despite being the bastard son of Ned Stark, instead he  becomes the new Head Commander of the Night’s Watch.
10. Daenerys Targaryen discovers that Ser Jorah was a spy and banishes him from her service.
