Bam Margera’s F*ckface Unstoppable Band Tour @ ANU Bar

We’ve all heard of Bam Margera. He’s the guy from Jackass who released an alligator in his parents’ house and filmed his mum’s terrified cries. He’s the professional skateboarder who was sponsored at the age of 10, and he is also the lead singer (or should I say screamer) of his band F*ckface Unstoppable, who played at ANU bar on Wednesday the 6th of May, 2015.

The gig had a decent turnout for such a small venue. This 18+ event was selling drinks for a reasonable price, and there were four pool tables for gig-goers to make use out of while the bands set up the stage.

The supporting band, Foreign Kings, are a local Canberra band consisting of five members. They played really well, and I have a feeling they may be an upcoming band to look out for in the not too distant future! The only minor critique I have is maybe they needed to lower the volume of the bass guitar, while upping the lead singer’s mic.

After Foreign Kings played a great set with really catchy songs, there was a short break to grab some fresh air and a drink. Before long, Bam and his band mates were smashing it out on the stage. Red, blue and green lights were flashing and the smoke machine was pumping.

To begin with I couldn’t believe I was actually looking at Bam in the flesh – this hilarious guy who worked alongside Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O and of course Ryan Dunn – who I have also grown up with since MTV’s ‘Jackass’ began in 2000 (thanks to my older siblings!).

His band played well, yet the seven members on stage were a little wild!

Half the time I couldn’t comprehend what Bam or the other band members were saying, I think they may have had a few drinks before they played!

Overall it was an awesome night out with awesome people; it was just a shame it was on a Wednesday night!
