Nick Vujicic Autobiography (Life Without Limits) Book Review

Nick Vujicic was a boy born without limbs that grew up to become one of the most inspiring people around the world. In his autobiography, he talks about the challenges and hardships he had to endure as well as his faith he had in God, which got him through the most difficult of times.

His autobiography is pleasing to read and uses illustrations to help gain the interest of the reader. The illustrations also give a deeper context of his family and himself both as a child and as an adult.

I first assumed that the autobiography would just be about him and the challenges he faced as an adolescent and adult, but whilst reading it definitely changed my opinions and understanding about the book entirely and really made me think about Nick in a different light.

Nick uses others people’s stories which are similar to his to help tell his story in a way which really speaks to the audience. This is evident through quotes and examples which are illustrated right throughout the autobiography.

The book itself is framed as a self-help guide which provides ways in which people can help overcome the dark times in their lives and use it as a way to further themselves.

He also talks extensively about his relationship and faith in his religion in which he says got him through some of the toughest times in his life in which saved him from committing suicide.

The moment which really stood out to me was when he became a motivational speaker as an adult. How he put the pain he is feeling to help enrich other people’s lives and help make an impact and difference especially with the younger generation.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a good autobiography as it takes the reader on an emotional journey and ultimately teaches them life lessons. It also provides advice for people who experience adversity in their daily lives which include bullying, not fitting in and feeling inadequate about themselves.
